Nature: White or slightly yellow bean shaped particles, rods, or blocks. Melting point approximately 360 ºC, d 2 044. 380 ºC is anhydrous. The pH value of the Imol/L aqueous solution is 13.5. Non combustible and highly corrosive. When exposed to water and steam, a large amount of heat is released, forming a corrosive solution.
